The Neomex are the sibling species of the Marcimex (making them morphologically almost identical). They inhabit the sea caves of Calypso where they hunt spiders, fish, snails and salamanders. Neomex are practically blind but react aggressively to loud noises and sudden movements. Neomex CaveNeomex Cave Entrance: /wp [Calypso, 76396, 65824, 60, Neomex Cave Entrance] The Missing Scientist mission chain must be completed in order to gain access to the Neomex Cave. 10 Neomex Slime can be used with the Slime Processor found on the table near the cave's exit to create a random limited NeoPsion Kinetic Amplifier blueprint. Using one of the Pheromone Glands on a Force Nexus Stone inside the cave will increase the maturity level of the Neomex in the cave to the next rank: While the regular Pheromone Gland used to increase the maturity level from Weak to Watcher are a common drop from Eomon and Longtooth, the remaining Pheromone Glands used to further increase the Neomex level maturity are looted from the Neomex themselves as an uncommon drop from a normal Neomex or a common drop from a Neomex Elite/Boss of the respective maturity level. Killing 160 Neomex triggers the spawn of a Neomex Elite/Boss. All Neomex Elites/Bosses spawn Broodling Elites up to Hunter Elite which spawns both Broodling Elites and Minion Elites, after which the bosses spawn Minion Elites. Upon killing a Neomex Elite/Boss a 30 minute Increased Health buff is granted with the strength of the buff increasing based on the level of the Elite/Boss killed. Codex Rewards
